Hermes Strengths and Weaknesses
Hermes Son of Zeus and Maia is a well rounded and very powerful god. He was not born with many flaws or problems in his life. Weaknesses are not a large part of Hermes he has little or no weaknesses. Although he does face many problems on his many journeys he must make as messenger of the gods and zeus's herald. On the other hand Hermes has many good strengths including being clever, bold, determined, athletic, and a great magician or good at trickery. He can also charm monsters by using his flute playing abilities or lyre music. So overall Hermes has many more powers rather then having any weaknesses.
Symbolism and Personality Traits
Hermes is a well rounded figure when it comes to the greek gods and goddesses. He is told to be intelligent, determined, and clever. All these traits are shown through the myths he appears in using his wits to get out of my problems. He is also very kind. It is shown in what he does he was to often lead human souls out of the underworld. Doing this takes a lot of cunning and wits because it is said once you go into the underworld you don't return. Hermes also has a deeper meaning of symbolism. He somewhat represents peace and happiness between the gods because he tries to stop war and create bonds between people. Also his staff is said to represent healing and have a connection to doctors. Other then that he has some small tedious symbolism that does not play a large part in all of his work and travels.
