Deity Backround
Hades is the lord of the dead and death. Hades is the lord of the hidden wealth of the earth aswell. The kingdom of the dead was seperated into two parts. The first is Tartarus which is the part of the under world where all the evil and wicked souls go to be tortured. Elysium is the part where all the good souls go after death. In ancient Greece the people were so scared of Hades they did not want to even say his real name so they called him "Pluton" meaning "giver of wealth". The Greeks did not even build a statue or temple in his honor. They did this because they did not view the underworld a place of joy or happiness, they saw it as a place of tourture, pain, and suffering.
